Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Controller to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial operations within our Export Parts Store division. The Internal Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, implementing internal controls, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:

• Monitor and analyze financial data related to the Export Parts Store to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.

Internal Controls:

• Design, implement, and manage robust internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Audit Preparation:

• Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and readily available.

Budget Management:

• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and manage budgets for the Export Parts Store, providing regular reports on budget variances.

Risk Assessment:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, or compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve financial and operational processes within the Export Parts Store to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting:

• Generate timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards, staying informed about changes that may impact the Export Parts Store.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as Supply Chain and Sales, to ensure seamless coordination and communication for financial matters related to the Export Parts Store.

Training and Development:

• Provide training and support to finance and operational teams within the Export Parts Store to enhance financial awareness and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Internal Controller or similar role, preferably in an export or parts store environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
