OFFRE D'EMPLOI : Technology Manager

We’re looking for an Technology Manager to join a financial institution (Fintech) based in Douala. You’ll oversee our digital and payment wallet IT function;

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains information technology strategies
• Researches and implements technological strategic solutions.
• Initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization IT standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge on the payment industry by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a computer field
• 3-5 years of experience managing digital banking, payment or card systems related IT operations
• Able to liaise and work with Operations manager, IT vendors to ensure business requirements are well defined and properly implemented.
• Plan and manage the execution of IT projects e.g requirement gathering, analysis, implementation, testing, production rollout and maintenance
• Understanding of payment regulatory and compliance environment and requirements
• Contribute to the smooth running of payment IT systems by investigating production system issues and resolving problems efficiently with minimum disruption to the business
• Knowledge on card processing and payments systems understanding of Cyber Security Protocols, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), PCI PIN, ISAE3402,  Fraud systems, Customer service tools and systems, and Mobile Application technology, Reward Systems, API integrations
