ROLE PURPOSE:
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team that successfully closes new and grows existing enterprise accounts, by providing relevant value propositions to maximize departmental revenue and margin. The job function involves high profile sales growth, planning and prioritization, managing the sales lifecycle, sales and revenue trends analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
ROLE DEFINITION & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Distribution and ready to take on further responsibilities the incumbent will:
- Identify enterprise opportunities in the market and develop strategies to realize sales.
- Increase penetration and revenue by offering bespoke enterprise communication solutions.
- Put in place programmes to upsell and regularly grow existing accounts.
- Monitor competitor activity within the sector and report with recommendations for action.
- Regularly monitor and appraise the performance of each member of the Corporate Sales team and, where necessary, implement training and development activities.
- Conduct customer needs analysis and account audits including usage patterns and industry trends.
- Coordinate with other departments in order to obtain quality service and product delivery and effectively resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor outstanding account balances on an ongoing basis and liaise with Credit Control to ensure accounts owing are settled in a timely manner
JOB REQUIREMENT:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Sales and Marketing, or equivalent
- A minimum of 6 years proven experience in a similar position
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory / management position
- Excellent written and oral English and French language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Expertise in marketing and sales as well as in depth knowledge of the corporate sales cycle
- Highly proficient in all MS Office applications - Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- Exposure to the Telecommunications Industry
- Able to operate in a performance driven organization
- Ability to manage complex client relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French Language
- Demonstrable skills of being able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment and ability to work under pressure in time-challenged situations
