CONTEXT/SCOPE

Guinness Cameroun SA (GCSA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Diageo and is the 2nd biggest FES market within Diageo Africa.  

The Reward Analyst will be required to deliver and drive all reward activities within the business. He/she will also interface with Business Partners and support them in achieving on the delivery and the achievement of their function’s reward goals.

PURPOSE

The Reward Analyst GCSA and WACA is responsible:

  • to provide high quality analytical support to the ARM Reward Manager and GCSA  HRD
  • to drive the Performance and Reward agenda

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification required 

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • CIPD qualification is highly desirable
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and use data
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent stakeholders management
  • Team Management experience a plus
  • Able to demonstrate superior customer service skills

Experience required 

  • 5 years + experience in Human Resources/Reward

ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Reward Analyst GCSA and WACA you should be able to:

  • Design salary ranges to support HRBP with new hire package decisions.
  • Be a Point of contact for queries on inbound IA benefits, payroll management and tax related matters
  • Develop local AIP, share plans, Sales and Supply Incentives and retirement plans through detailed analysis. 
  • Complete external salary surveys by preparing local market submission and responding to additional data requests. 
  • To Complete data collection and analysis for various reward projects as needed (e.g. HRIS, M&A, audit support, reorganization, policies, employer branding, HR projects, etc.).
  • Supports the execution of the annual reward cycle with detailed analysis, modelling and reconciliation
  • Perform Job evaluation as per business request
  • Assist HRD in tracking and managing total overhead budget for the business area
