MINISTRY OF JUSTICE
ORDER N0. 209/MINJUSTICE OF 1ST JULY 2015 TO LAUNCH A DIRECT COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE(175) ASSISTANT COURT REGISTRARS, INTO THE CORPS OF COURT REGISTRY CIVIL SERVANTS, CATEGORY "C" OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE.
The Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals Hereby orders as follows:
Article 1er:
- A direct competitive examination for the recruitment of one hundred and seventy-five(175) Assistant Court Registrars, into the corps of Court Registry civil servants category "C" of the Public Service.
- The written part of this competitive examination shall take place on 10th October 2015 in all the Regional Headquarters.
Article 2:
The examination shall be open to all Cameroonians who fulfill the following conditions:
- be of good morality;
- aged between 17 and 29 years on the 1st of January 2015;
- hold a Brevet d'Etudes du Premier Cycle(BEPC) or a Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle(CAP) Secrétariat Option or office worker or a General Certificate of Education, Ordinary Level(O. Level) and meeting the conditions of access required by the General Rules and Regulations of the Public service;
Article 3:
Candidate's Complete application files shall be submitted, against a receipt, at the Ministry of Justice, Department of General Affairs, Office of Direct Competitive Examination(4th floor, Room 416 and 409) or in Legal Departments of the Courts of Appeal latest 31st August 2015, the files shall comprise the following document:
- a registration form bearing a CFA F1000 fiscal stamp. The form can be obtained at the Ministry of Justice, Department of General Affairs. Office of Direct Competitive Examinations or in Legal Departments of Courts of Appeal;
- a certified copy of the birth certificate signed by the competent civil authority(Mayor, Divisional Officer, Senior Divisional Officer, Governor);
- a criminal record (Bulletin No. 3) of not more than three(3) months old
- a certified true copy of the required certificate signed by a competent civil authority;
- an attestation of presentation of the original of required certificate signed by the competent civil authority(Senior Divisional Officer, Governor);
- a receipt attesting payment of the sum of CFA 20,000(twenty thousand francs) issued by either the Service Head of Budget Head of the Ministry of Justice (Room 403) or by the Head of Administrative and Financial Affairs of the Legal Department of the Court of Appeal with territorial jurisdiction or his deputy duly appoined by the Procureur General;
- a medical certificate issued by a public service Medical Doctor or less than three(3) months old;
- four(4) passport size photographs with the candidate's names written on the black of the photographs;
- an A4 envelope bearing the candidate's address and a postal stamp of the official rate.
NB: All incomplete of late files or files with fake, forged documents of with documents signed in a police station shall be simply rejected.
Article 4:
- Candidates shall arrive at the examination rooms one(1) hour before the start of the examinations with their national identity card, the file deposit receipt and writting material excluding paper.
- Venues for examinations shall be announced over the Radio, the Press and through billboards.
Article 5:
The written part of the examinations shall be conducted accordind to the following schedule:
- Dictation and Reading comprehension(8 a.m - 10 a.m, Coef 3, Eliminatory score 05/20)
- Language: Essay on current event(11 a.m - 1 p.m, Coef 2, Eliminatory score 05/20)
- Essay writting(2 p.m - 5 p.m, Coef 3, Eliminatory score 05/20)
The latest time to arrive the examination centres is 7:00 a.m. prompt for morning papers
Article 6:
The syllabus of the competitive examination for the recruitment of Assistant Court Registrars shall be that of Form 5 of General Secondary Education.
Article 7:
The results of the competitive examination shall be published through on Order signed by the Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals.
