Job Position: Sampling/Activation manager

Reports to: CEO Tropic

Location: Cameroon

Main Purpose

The Activation Manager is responsible for co-developing and implementing the activation strategy that supports the brand objectives. Leads the execution of all activation plans country-wide and is accountable for activation targets.

Main Accountabilities

• Manage fields activations(home to home sampling, market sampling, product demonstrations, markets storms etc.) in collaboration with the customer marketing and brand team to support increase in the penetration of products.
• Responsible for recruitment and training of supervisors and promoters/activators/foot soldiers
• Accountable for achieving the set activation targets.
• End to end project management of activations including detailing critical paths, coordinating logistics, monitoring and evaluation.
• Manage and maintain material and equipment developed for below the line activations.
• Coach the teams for performance in relation to the targets set and build a winning spirit withim the team.
• Responsible for training of all activation activation teams ensuring that they represent the brand values.
• Accountable for the safety, health, tax payment & transportation of all key stakeholders/participants during activations.
• Hold regular review meetings on a monthly/quarterly basis with the teams.
• Prepare & share reprots with the leadership teams on activations detailing highlights, challenges, competitor activities and making recommendations.
• Accountable for budgets allocated to activations.

Critical success Factors for the Job

• Essential: Minimum 2 years managing groups of people of projects
• Desirable: 2+ years of sales and/or marketing experience
