JOB ADVERT : Senior Fullstack Developer

Victoi is a Fintech startup based in Douala Cameroon with affiliates in the USA. We are an early-stage startup up with a dynamic and collaborative team. As Senior Full Stack Developer at Victoi, you'll build fully-fledged platforms using a range of different technologies. You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features. You'll write clean and functional code on the front- and back-end. You'll collaborate closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and to create a great user experience. You'll write reusable and maintainable code. You'll optimize web design for mobile for maximum speed. You'll also perform UI tests to optimize performance. Ultimately, your work will have direct impact on the stability and user experience of our products.

Key Skills & Experiences:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, React Native and/or Ionic, Git, GitHub, Android Studio, Xcode, PHP, MySQL, restful APIs, Figma, Trello

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable web/mobile applications using React/React Native ensuring compatibility across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and backend development, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement user interfaces that effectively convey our FinTech solutions and provide a seamless user experience.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and responsiveness, while maintaining code quality and organization.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues, ensuring smooth application functionality.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development and integrate them into the development process.
• Participate in code and design reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and continuously improving the quality of our mobile applications.
• Contribute to the documentation of mobile application architecture, design, and codebase for future reference and collaboration.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React & React Native.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, React Native, Ionic, Git, GitHub, Android Studio, Xcode, PHP & MySQL
• Solid understanding of web and mobile application development frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs, integrating with backend services, and handling data efficiently and securely.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing frameworks and experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
