The North West Regional Fund for Health Promotion(NWRFHP), a public interest group (PIG) based in Bamenda needs the services of a Project Manager, and an Accountant to assist in the Performance Based Financing Project as from January, 2015. Below are the profiles for the two posts:
B: Accountant
Under the direct supervision of the Administrative and Finance Officer, he/she will have as duties and responsibilities as follows (the list is inexhaustible).
Handling of Accounts
- Treatment and centralization of payment in the excel sheet.
- Establishment of the different situation associated to payment; situation of CNPS Contributions, situation of outstanding taxes, pay slips and submission for the manager’s signature.
- Execution of payment or the elaboration transfer orders of salaries to the beneficiaries bank accounts.
- Pre accounting and typing of payment in the appropriate software.
- Management of bank account and cash in hand of the project; handling of the cash journal and bank accounts.
- Support in periodic reporting.
- Filing of documents associated with payment.
- Monthly declaration of CNPS contributions and their payment by bank transfer.
- Project Relationship with the Taxation Department of the State.
Profile
- Advanced Level + 3 years in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in general and analytical accounting, preference with development projects.
- At least 6 months of cabinet accounting will be of greater advantage.
- Good knowledge of the management procedures of “Project Development”.
- Good mastery of the Ms Word and Excel, Adobe and Internet.
- Good mastery of the accounting software SAGE and TOMPRO.
- Good knowledge of French and English.
