JOB ADVERT: ACCOUNTANT

REMIH ORGANICS is moving to Douala and requires the services of a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of an Accountant.

The accountant will be reporting to the Managing Director, will coordinate and implement financial, treasury and accounting operations in accordance with the company’s corporate policies and in compliance with fiscal, legal and regulatory/statutory requirements.

The Accountant is responsible for keeping up to date records of the company in accordance with accepted accounting principles and procedures, analyzing information/data, preparing and communicating accurate and timely financial reports and statements for decision making. 

Location: Douala, Cameroon
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly account reports
• Prepare profit and loss statements
• Assembling and evaluating financial data
• Preparing financial records and ledgers for business transactions
• Receiving and evaluating business expenses and budgets
• Preparing and analyzing payroll entries
• Billing invoices and accounting reports
• Maintaining financial records of the company
• Securing financial data by maintaining backup accumulating, evaluating and reviewing financial records and account reports 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least an HND or equivalence in accounting, finance or any related field
• Have a good knowledge in finance, budgeting and accounting principles
• Should possess knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
• Knowledge on federal and state financial rules and policies
• Should possess strong mathematical skills
• Good analysis and accounting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be bilingual (English/French)
• Ability to dress professionally
• Physically fit
