OPPORTUNITY : Software engineer

We are looking for a qualified Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will be working with our engineers to develop and maintain high quality applications; Mobile and Web. If you’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you.
As a Software engineer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional applications while working in a fast-paced environment.
Ultimately, you should be able to design and build the next generation of our applications.

Responsibilities

1. Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
2. Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
3. Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
4. Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
5. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
6. Implement Designed Interfaces
7. Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
8. Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
9. Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
10. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
11. Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
12. Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
13. Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
14. Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
15. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
16. Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
17. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the
• Android market In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform in a team environment
