In line with its production plan, Njoka TV is soliciting the services of the following

DIRECTOR/ VIDEO EDITOR

SKILLS

• Storytelling abilities executable in video, yet applicable to other mediums
• A broad aesthetic, diverse creative styles and an ability to bring to life a creative team’s vision
• Excellent technical skills and a command of all aspects of post-production including, editing, CGI/VFX, colour grading, compositing, green screen, retouching, format conversion, encoding, sound production, sound recording, sound sweetening, sound design, compression, mastering and media management
• Demonstrated video camera operation experience with an emphasis on action sports and a proficiency and comfort shooting in mountain environments
• Expert knowledge of Final Cut Pro; Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; and Cinema 4D.
• Experience with HD and RAW footage pipeline and digital formats including RED and Canon DSLR. We might want to revise this. Many very competent up and coming videographers might not have RED experience. Making it a plus opens the doors to more candidates. It's also something very easy to understand quickly. XDCAM is a tricky we might want in there too.
• Experience in design, motion graphics and 3D animation an asset.
• Willingness to engage with clients directly in order to best understand their goals
• Ability to support client services team in selling in concepts and executions
• Ability to constructively receive, distill and execute on client feedback, while helping to guide them through the process

• PHOTOSHOP
