Unity Co-operative Society (UNICS Plc) is a Microfinance Institution created on the 15th of January 2000. Among other conventional financial products like savings accounts and current accounts, UNICS Plc has invested a lot in the development of value added services like Automated Teller Machine and the sale of Bank Cards, Online Banking, SMS Banking, Virtual Private Network, and many others. For the past 24 years, UNICS Plc has been able to position herself as one of the fastest growing financial institutions in Cameroon with highly improved technological facilities and well-developed products tailored to the needs of the public.

We are seeking the services of a Candidate who would be ready to work at the Head Office in Yaounde in the following position: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience in researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs in .NET, Php.
• Experience in researching, designing and deploying applications to play store using languages such as React or Java for Android
• Experience in working with Play store KPI’s and presentation formats especially for reporting purposes.
• Experience in front end languages such as HTML5, JavaScript etc.
• Experience working with RDBMS SQL-Server and My-SQL and writing SQL queries.
• Exposure with UI or UX design with project examples.
• Experience working with non conventional data presentation types such as CSV etc...
• Good in analyzing user requirements for software and hardware.
• Knowledge on integration and user acceptance testing with software and hardware projects with proven examples.
• Experience in creation and implementation of algorithms for program design.
• Knowledge on UML diagrams and implementations in program design.
• Able in identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications in accordance with software development standards.
• Writing and implementing testable and efficient code with associated KPI’s
• Determining operational practicality of software.
• Have knowledge on black box testing for quality assurance procedures for Software
• Knowledge on deploying software tools, processes and metrics.
• Knowledge on maintaining and upgrading existing IT systems.
• Training users and help prepare manuals in administration of software.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge and implementation of digitalization of products with proven examples.

Qualification and Skills

• To have at least a Degree in Software Developing, Networking and Maintenance, or equivalent from a reputable university.
• To have at least two years of experience.
• Bilingual (English and French);
• Someone of impeccable personal and professional integrity.
