Summary: The U.S. Mission in Yaounde, Cameroon is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Receptionist/Telephone Operator.
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period from receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications, or their candidacy may end.
Supervisory Position: No
Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Information Program Officer, incumbent serves as Receptionist/Switchboard Operator. Operates Switchboard Console and portrays a very professional image of the Embassy in placing local and international calls for the mission using the most cost effective manner possible while receiving incoming calls for the mission and directs them to the correct office. Provides information to visitors and callers in directing them to the proper Embassy office for assistance.
Qualifications and Evaluations:
Education: A GCE “A” level or Baccalauréat, or equivalent diploma is required.
