About the Role

Afro Engineering Cameroon is expanding its operations in the telecom infrastructure sector.

We are seeking a Telecom Project Coordinator to support the delivery of network and energy projects across Cameroon.

The successful candidate will organize, administer, and monitor all project activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to Afro and Huawei quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Administration: Break projects into actionable plans, define timelines, and follow up on execution.
  • Coordination: Manage daily activities, resources, and equipment while ensuring smooth collaboration between field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Communication: Serve as the main contact point between internal teams, Huawei, and other stakeholders; provide regular progress updates and reports.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain all project documentation (plans, reports, acceptance files, and specifications).
  • Budget Monitoring: Track project costs and expenditures against the approved budget.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential delays or challenges and propose corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Understand client requirements, follow up on deliverables, and maintain strong working relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in telecom site rollout, O&M, or project coordination (Huawei project experience is an asset).
  • Strong planning, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good command of English and French (bilingual preferred).
