Within this framework we are looking for a suitable candidate for one year duration renewable contract to fulfill the position of "Country Human Resources Assistant".

Duty Station: Yaoundé - Country Office

Purpose of the Role: To assist the Country Human Resources Manager in the implementation of Human Resources systems, procedures and a wide variety of Human Resources functions for the organisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Country Human Resources Manager, the Country Human Resources Assistant will among other tasks perform the following:

• Provide support in staff recruitment activities;
• Control the operation of the Human Resources Informations Systems;
• Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of staff training and development programs;
• Support in managing staff appraisals;
• Ensure the updating of all staff files;
• Support in conducting employee morale surveys to advise management on appropriate change management interventions;
• Administrate the HRIS;
• Ensure adherence to HR policy and practices, consistent with global policy and compliant with local statutory and legislative requirements;
• Maintain and update a summary of labour law for quick reference in supporting staff understanding and compliance;

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Law, Human Resources or equivalent;
• At least 2 years of experience working in an HR generalist role or administration;
• Fluency in French and English(written & spoken);
• Experience working with any HR information system will be a good asset
