JOB ADVERT: IT Operator

General responsibilities

• Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment. 
• May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices. 
• In charge of training the employees in SAGE Software.

Essential Tasks

• Monitor and install SAGE software.
• Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance in SAGE Software.
• Notify and maintenance of equipment malfunctions.
• Respond to program error (SAGE) messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
• Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. 

Education and Experience

• Holder of a HND or a Bachelor Degree in computer sciences, IT or any relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience with a significant in monitoring and installation of SAGE Software.
• Fluent in English.
