THE COMPANY Alternative RH recruits for one of its customers in Douala a Content Acquisition Manager

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Participate in all aspects of negotiation (financial analysis and forecasting, contract drafting, security requirements, amendments)
• Manage and evaluate external accounts through performance tracking and relationship cultivation in an effort to grow each account’s business
• Develop market expertise through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment
• Communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications for programming strategy and the overall business
• Negotiate & sign partnerships with Music and Film Artists & Producers for content distribution
• Sign distribution partnership with content owners
• Establish partnerships with digital distribution platforms for content distribution
• Generate innovative ideas for new contents and coordinate their development and marketing
• Plan and execute content marketing events

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in the marketing/sales domain Professional experience
• At least one (01) year relevant experience is required or in prior role with negotiation/sales experience
• Direct contact with music labels and artists preferable Languages
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English and French Competencies
• Strong analytical capabilities and superior judgment
• Ability to work proactively, independently and reliable under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think commercially and be solution-oriented
• A motivated, self-starter with a keen interest in and aptitude to for finding great content from all over Africa
• Mastery of verbal and written communication skills
