Plan Cameroon is in the process of acquiring a grant from the World Food Program(WFP) for the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities relating to  the management of Moderate Acute Malnutrition(MAM) in the East, North and Far-North regions. Within this framework we are looking for potential Cameroonian candidates for one year duration renewable contract to fulfill the positions below:

NB: Awarding employment contracts to selected candidates will depend on the final agreement on the grant with the donor.

Title: National Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator, Supplementary Feeding Program(SFP).

Duty Station: Country Office based in Yaoundé with a possibility to be transferred anywhere in Cameroon.

Main responsabilities and Responsibilities

Under the authority of the National Project Coordinator, the National M&E Coordinator will among other tasks perform the following:

• Design and implement a logic model for data analysis
• Design and manage a MER plan
• Develop data collection tools
• Establish data quality audit policies and procedures
• Manage and maintain the database
• Data analysis, follow-up progress on indicators and reporting
• MER training and support to Community workers and staff
• Compilation on monthly reports of the program units(PUs)
• Liaise with the staff at the PUs level to maximize collaboration and ensure proper coordination of MER activities.
• Ensure a proper involvement and Assistant M&E at the PUs level in the project monitoring and evaluation

Program development, partnership development

• Review, analyze and share relevant data
• Design data collection framework and initiate Nutrition assessment operations in implementing zones
• Participate in National cluster meeting and share data/experiences/Knowledge

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Statistcs or related courses
• Knowledge of international humanitarian standards
• Minimum of five(5) years solid work experience in reseach and evaluation, planning, participatory monitoring and evaluation, and developing community development projects

Skills and Behaviour

• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently and proven ability and willingness to learn others languages
• Mastery of survey software
• Excellent computer skills
• Proven capacity to facilitate trainings, coach staff and provide supportive supervision
