Local Agent Position in the Political, Press and Information Section
The European Union Delegation to Cameroon launches a call for applications for a (01) Political Affairs Officer position in the Political, Press and Information Section. This is a high-skill job opportunity involving research and analysis.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision and responsibility of the Head of the Political, Press and Information Section, the incumbent will monitor developments in the political, socio-economic and security fields. In this capacity, he/she will carry out the following activities:

REQUIRED PROFILE
Nationality: Be a national of a Member State of the Africa-Caribbean-Pacific group or of the European Union
Education and training (minimum requirements): University education attested by a Master's degree (according to the European Higher Education Area: http://www.ehea.info/pid34438/three-cycle-system.html) or equivalent, preferably in one of the following areas of specialisation: political science, international relations, public law, economics, or diplomacy.
Professional experience
Language proficiency (minimum requirements): Very good oral and written command of French and English (minimum level C1, http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/sites/default/files/cefr-en.pdf).

Criteria for evaluation of the applications, pre-selection and selection
The application files will be analysed on the basis of the criteria mentioned in the section "Required profile". At the end of this stage, the thirty best candidates will be invited to take a written test.
The ten candidates with the highest scores in the written test will be convened by the recruitment committee for an interview.
