NOTICE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A TECHNICAL ACCOUNTANT FOR THE FOLLOW UP OF THE DIRECT COMPENSATION OF THE INSURED (IDA) AGREEMENT AT ASAC

Within the framework of the putting in place of the Direct Compensation of the Insured (IDA) Agreement, the Cameroon Association of Insurance Companies (ASAC) is recruiting an account:

ASSIGNED FUNCTION AND MISSIONS

Paced under the authority of the Secretary General, he will, on a principal basic, have to assist his direct boss in the management of the direct compensation of the insured system notably by ensuring that member companies abide by the provisions contained in the said system. Furthermore, he will have to will have to fulfil the various tasks assigned to an accountant.

Description of tasks

  • Follow up of companies’ request for information;
  • Receipt, verification and then forwarding of claims notes to companies;
  • Verification of claims deadlines;
  • Receipt, verification, then forwarding of claims litigation notices to companies;
  • Receipt, verification, then forwarding of claims rectification notices to companies;
  • Presentation of claims litigation notices to the follow up and conciliation commission;
  • Verification and claiming of claims balance settlements;
  • Keeping of bi-annual accounting statements;
  • Drafting of annual activity statements;
  • Preparation and drafting of General Assembly documents of member companies;
  • Information for companies.

PROFILE

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL

  • University level graduate in Finance and Accounting or equivalent certificate;
  • The candidate must have a good knowledge of the insurance domain and particularly the management of claims files.

PROFESSIONNAL EXPERIENCE

  • Have minimum five (05) years confirmed working experience in an Insurance or Reinsurance Company.

CONDITIONS OF CANDIDATURE

  • Be of Cameroonian Nationality
  • Be aged 25 years minimum

DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDE

  • An employment application for the advertised job;
  • A certified true curriculum vitae;
  • A certified true copy of qualification tittles, certificates and attestations.

RECRUITMENT MODALITIES

Pre-selected candidates will have to undergo tests as well as an interview.
